I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ Matthew 25:36-40

Elder Galvin Danzy

ELDER GALVIN DANZY

Galvin Danzy has been saved and a member of Grace Tabernacle Church since the age of 13. At 16, he entered the Junior Deacon Program, training for leadership in the church. Although he later chose to join the military at the age of 21—straying from God’s calling for a season—God continued to pursue him.

Galvin served in the United States Army from 2012 to 2015, proudly completing four years of service. After returning home, he battled depression and anxiety, which deeply affected his life and relationships. This struggle ultimately led him back to Christ, seeking true healing, restoration, and purpose.

Committed to growing spiritually and academically, Galvin attended and graduated from PIPSC—Pendleton Institute for Biblical Studies. Shortly thereafter, he was ordained as an Elder in the United Churches Fellowship, stepping fully into the calling God placed on his life. Alongside his wife, Antoinette, Galvin helps lead several ministries that focus on building, strengthening, and refreshing the people of God:

Today, Galvin is an Army veteran, an ordained elder, a ministry leader, and a devoted husband and father of three. His life is a testimony of God’s grace and restoration—proof that even when you stray, God can still redeem your story and use you powerfully for His kingdom. Galvin continues to dedicate his life to serving God’s people, strengthening the Body of Christ, and living out the principles of the Gospel with authenticity and compassion.

Mission Statement

This ministry focuses on blessing and refreshing those who pour out the most—leaders, ministers, elders, and faithful workers in the church. Through this ministry, they host annual events such as trips, private chef experiences, massages, bowling outings, and other forms of care and relaxation. Their heart is to provide a safe place where leaders can exhale, unwind, and be strengthened again.
Jesu Is the way picture

Testimonial from Rebeca Cooley: Being poured into by this ministry has truly impacted me. My best friend and her husband have a unique anointing that flows through everything they create from Evangelist Antionette Danzy's’ books to their Christian t-shirts, and every message that they share. Their obedience to God has encouraged me to continue to grow spiritually, to trust Him more deeply, and to walk boldly as a Child of God. Evangelist Antoinette Danzy's’ books are filled with revelation and real-life wisdom, and their apparel doesn’t just look good, it carries a message that inspires and uplifts. I am grateful for the way God is using them both, and I am honored to witness what He is doing through them in this season. Kingdom Principles is a ministry that nurtures growth and restoration. Vision Statement

Youth Ambassadors for Christ (The Walk) Antoinette also helps lead a teen ministry where young people meet on Zoom every couple of weeks. The teens guide the conversation as they discuss life, challenges, faith, and purpose, while Antoinette and her husband provide godly, biblical guidance. The goal is to help teens learn how to walk out their Christian lives with honesty, confidence, and spiritual maturity. No matter what life has thrown at her, Antoinette stands firm in the goodness of God. She continues to spread love, encourage others, build up leaders, pour into the next generation, and do good no matter what wrong has been done to her. Her life and ministry inspire others to trust God, rise again, and walk boldly in the calling He has placed on their lives. Bible Study & Outreach Every Tuesday night, Antoinette and her husband teach Bible study, pouring into God’s people with clarity, compassion, and biblical truth. Their ministry also includes annual homeless outreach, providing food and clothing to those in need, as well as yearly fellowship events. These gatherings—often hosted at their home—offer free food, activities, inflatables for the kids, and an open invitation for anyone from the church to come and enjoy fellowship, love, and community. Kingdom Principle Ministry Together, they also run a Kingdom Principle Ministry, sharing God’s Word through t-shirts, hoodies, scrubs produced in-house, and Kingdom Principle jewelry. Her motto is: “Don’t just wear it—share it!” Antoinette’s life is a testimony of grace, resilience, and the redeeming power of God. After nearly losing her life in the line of duty as a Philadelphia police officer, she knew God preserved her for a purpose. She has walked through seasons of deep pain—from losing custody of her firstborn to almost facing divorce—yet she allowed God to take her brokenness and turn it into ministry.

THE MINISTRIES' CORE VALUES

EMPOWERMENT

We believe in empowering souls to maintain or regain control of their lives by fostering self-confidence, resilience, repentance, and a sense of purpose through faith in Jesus Christ.

COMPASSION

We approach our work with deep empathy, understanding the unique challenges each soul faces in overcoming worldly ways that seek to separate them from Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Compassion is at the heart of what we do, creating a safe and supportive space to reflect on the past and repent, so they can be fully restored and become a new creation in Christ. Knowing that Jesus loves them and desires their salvation, no matter their past, inspires them to seek Him and embrace a new purpose and journey in life.

INCLUSIVITY

We welcome everyone who comes through our doors or reaches out to us. We recognize that every soul has a path to recovery through repentance to Jesus and obedience to Him and His Word. Our programs and services are designed to meet the individual needs and backgrounds of those we serve and minister to.

INTERGRITY

We are committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity in all our interactions through obedience to the Word of God. Transparency, honesty, and ethical conduct form the foundation of our relationships with souls, staff, and stakeholders.

COLLABORATION

We believe in the power of working together and actively partner with Bible-based community organizations, businesses, and individuals to expand the resources available to those we serve.

PERSONAL GROWTH

We are dedicated to encouraging ongoing growth by offering opportunities for skill building, education, and self-discovery. We trust in the potential for lifelong learning through a relationship with Christ.

RESPECT

We treat every person with dignity, kindness, and respect. Our goal is to nurture a culture of respect in all areas of our ministry, from engaging with participants to collaborating with community partners.

ACCOUNTABILITY

We hold ourselves and our ministry responsible to our mission and to those we serve. We strive to provide high-quality programs and services, track our impact, and continually improve to meet the changing needs of our community.

HOPE

We nurture hope by fostering an environment that believes in the unique strength and potential of every soul. Through our ministry, we aim to inspire optimism, resilience, and faith in the promise of a brighter future through Jesus.

COMMUNITY

We treasure the sense of community and Christian fellowship, knowing that supportive relationships are vital for sustaining faith in Jesus. Our ministry works to create a place where souls feel accepted, understood, and encouraged in their walk toward a devoted relationship with Christ.

FAITH

We value the importance of faith as a source of inspiration and strength for those we serve. At Melvin A. Washington Ministries, we offer hope, courage, and assurance that Jesus has blessings for all who believe, loves them as they are, and will transform them into Children of God.
